That's right, you heard right. I'll be playing at a Black Flag tribute concert in Tampa in November. Free Black Flag Bars tattoo's for anyone that attends, courtesy of Atomic Tattoos.

I'll try my best to get it on film & post.

We haven't decided on a set yet. There will be other tribute bands, so we will probably stay away from the standards. I'm thinking White Minority, Spraypaint, and maybe depression

Those are all great songs. TV party always goes well at shows, my old band use to play it sometimes and people loved it.

Was it Black Flag who played the instro for the opening credits of the movie "Repo Man"? If it was, you should do that one. Short, but cool.

Hey how about you play The Minutemen's version of Aint Talking Bout Love from the first SST 7inch (Paraniod Time) produced by Greg Ginn that would be cool and different. See if anybody gets it.

Saw the Minutemen do the Van Halen thing live at Club Lingerie way back when, I really liked their "shortened" version. Also saw the Ramones, Black Flag and the Minutemen on the same bill at the Paladium, marquee picture is on Henry Rollins book cover, "Get In The Van", I think. The photo does not do the scene justice, it was taken well after the crowd had dispersed. I left the show and riot cops were walking down the street, it was a very wierd atmosphere. Shows in LA back then were basically MMA fights with music  Crazy, crazy scene. But fun.

I hear ya. Tampa in the 80's was way nuts. No security, tons of skinheads, great bands. The Cuban Club was a weekly riot.

Back in the mid-1970s, my wife and I used to go to the Cuban Club on Friday nights when they had 1940s-style swing bands playing.

It was a gas gas gas. We were probably the only folks there under 50, and we weren't Cuban, but I knew a lot of the folks there and we just had a great time.
