Last night MBP played at a celebration for the Shmaltz Brewing Company's 13th year in business. Shmaltz being the makers of He'Brew, the Chosen Beer, this was of course a bar mitzvah! Local TV station KTVU was there, and there are some snips of us in action:

Funny, I had considered bringing it. Patience will be rewarded. I have a case now, but I need to gut the interior to fit the double neck. Then, look out world!

My computer must be ailing (pun not intended) because the video took forever to upload but was worth waiting for...and I got thirsty too
[edit] Mel, are you sure it wasn't a beer mitzvah!

The beer was definitely a mitzvah - thirteen malts, thirteen hops, thirteen percent alcohol!

What a hoot! The 3-pickup Hallmark is truly exciting, but I confess, even as a longtime garage rocker, that it is the throbbing of the Klez-clarinets that sets me aflame! Was that Shareem I heard in the background?
They're local for me here in Boston. Once I was on the bill with some of them when they played at a Chandler Travis show with a group composed of nine slide trombonists!!!!!!!!!
I don't think that He-Brew is available in my district, but I'll be looking.
your goyische pal,
twango
