Earlier, "entertaining" a bluesy emotion brought a certainly not traditional bluesy-oid mood song to mind.
Abba's "Chiquitita."
Before you punch out of this thread in disgust, give the melody of the piece a bit of consideration, or go to the web and find the 1980 or so video of them playing it out in the snow(??? hey, it was "art").
"Chiquitita" was easily picked up (in G), high part of 3rd, then into 4th octaves, the melody done on adjacent strings to try to imitate Agnathe and Anni's vocal duet, a bit of echo on the amp. Next thing, a half hour was gone and it had been a bunch of fun.
