I cannot stress how cool that Hallmark II sounded live.
Such a great sound. I had it strung with 9's in true Johnny Ramone fashion.

Yes the Hallmark II's and JR models do nail the JR sound from the early period. The Hallmark II is a really nice all around guitar. Be there or be rectangular.

Definitely!
I've been using it for the rockabilly stuff...and of course it KILLS for surf music!
I've had a number of local cats come up to me and want to play my II. They love the feel of the neck.
It pretty much plays itself...............

Joel (who played Johnny), has been taking some good natured ribbing about not playing downstrokes only.

That's great! I would love to do something like this. I've put It's Alive on and played to all 4 sides all the way through so I think I could handle the intensity. Also, I have a 1977 Marshall JMP Superlead with a Vintage 1960A, so I've got Johnny at my fingertips at all times. I've done this basic thing for The Misfits and may be doing it this Halloween again. It's a blast too, wish I would've recorded it.

Thanks,
Eyan

We were going to do the "Zombie Ramones" and have the 3 of us in zombie makeup.
We decided against it after a practice with the wigs and jackets. Wow..........that's hot!!!
After the show, I took off my jacket and sweat went flying all over the place......

ROCK AND ROLL!!

Cool, what about on Halloween doing "The Dead Ramones" ? Featuring, "Now I wanna Be A Dead Boy" "I Wanna Die" "Sheena Is A Dead Rocker" and more love songs like that.
