Congratulations! For both the guitar and the wife.
This concludes my report from outer space. Now, back to studio!

I couldn't believe my eyes....as I opened the box, I first encountered a beautiful case......when I opened up the case I saw a gorgeous pearl white custom 60 with a tortoise shell pickguard...

Exactly the one I would have ordered myself.........I noticed that the high E string was broken, and as I picked on the remaining 5 strings, I also noticed a buzz vibration when I played the D string on the 3rd fret....

I thought I'd get new strings tomorrow, put on the new E string, make sure it was in tune, and see what it did then, before I call Bob for advice.........or if anyone in the forum has gotten a Hallmark with the same vibration, please tell me what you did to alleviate the buzz.....

It's really beautiful, and I'd probably never have done more than dream of owning one....and my wife knew that and decided I'd have one after all, so ordered the last one in stock, and it came while I was out back working on the deck....

Great surprise! :D

Here are pics of two models of the Hallmark 60 Custom; the latest models feature the softer curve/carve on the treble horn (as shown in the second picture).

Paul,
I'm really liking the Surf Pearl next to my Candy Apple Red. You know what that means......?.........

Yeah Trent, you can put the blame on me :D
BTW, I found your picture to most suitable to use for the comparison between the old and new treble horn-feature on the H60C.
I'm glad you chimed in...hadn't seen ya drop in for a while ;)

Thanks, Paul, for pointing that out. Bob had mentioned that change to me numerous times, but I had no idea what the heck he was talking about. Now I get it.

I'll have to go see what the HC60 I have has, now.

We know all about it friend ...and I still don't take mine for granted! I'm a bit envious of you new H60C owners out there :( ...I still want to get me one of them softer curves one day!
Not to change the subject but I need to go unpack my new Hagstrom Super Swede guitar that I got today!
Yoohoo! NGD for me :D ...I need to take the dog out for his walk also... :?
