Loving the one pup, sunburst with the body binding! Any tentative idea on the street price Bob?

Although I recently picked up a Hofner (great bass), I may need a Hallmark as well!

H60C Bass update: Hugh McDonald now has his prototype H60C bass. He seems jazzed about it! There are a couple of mods as per his request and we will be ready for a first run shortly.

One request Hugh mentioned is the two single coil pickups to be humbucking in the middle position. I think this would be a great new feature as well. We may add one more fret to the fingerboard, so it would be a 32" scale neck, with 21 frets.

More news at 11

Yes, I am sure a pic will be on the horizon soon enough. Hugh is getting to know the bass over the next few days, he just received it yesterday. He said it was cool as *#$!. I think he likes it.

I don't have a street price just yet, it is a bit early for that, but you guys know how our pricing goes.

Did someone say Surf Pearl?

Man, I can't wait to see one with that paint myself. I came up with that paint job in a dream.

I will have the the one pickup bass three tone burst on display at the Ventures fan jam, so anyone who is attending will be able to plug it up and get a first hand check. Please come by and plug it in!

We will also have a bunch of other new gear on display too.

Should be a great time!

By the way, a news update, we have silver sparkle 60C's in stock. Anyone who has been looking for a silver flake we have em. We can also for a minor up charge color over the silver in any color you wish to make a custom flake paint scheme, tangerine, plum, root beer, lime, lemon flake, whatever you wish. Combinations available also. You could get several and if you squint, it will look like a giant bowl of Fruit Loops.

HAHA! mmmmm, now my fat a#@ wants some cereal!!!
Bob, can you post some pics of the silver? I would love to see it!
One more thing I think you might want to do to the bass is lower the decal, so we have room to put custom "enter your bands name here" model. ;)

I know what you mean about the Hallmark logo. The trouble is the vintage style keys had a smaller tuning key shaft. The new ones are wider so it is tough to get the logo lower as it would not fit perfectly. I may decide to use the earlier Hallmark logo, it may fit in there more snug. Will have to play with it and see. Thanks!

These look fantastic Bob!

When you say medium scale you mean 32"? I was kind of hoping to get a low B on there...

All the same expect me at the front of the queue when you officially release them.

Any updates on these? Im dying to hear one in action and potentially buy one. I can only look at the prototype photos so many times to quench my thirst.

I have been creeping over to the Hallmark Guitars webpage from time to time in hopes that these will pop up on the site. Soon?!
