Hello from Taiwan

Postby Perry » Wed Jun 17, 2009 4:42 pm

I'm an American who lives most of the year in Taiwan where I teach English at a college. I have played guitar for many years and about ten years ago attended the guitar building and repair program in Red Wing, Minnesota.

I have my own workshop in Taiwan where I build about four guitars a year. I recently finished a guitar based on the Robin Raider which is based on the Mosrite Ventures model. I am eager to share pictures of this guitar with you and receive your comments.

Glad to be aboard,

Perry

Hi, Perry. Welcome to the forum! I haven't heard of the Robin Raider before. Pictures of your build are welcome, I enjoy pictures of guitars people build. I'm going to build guitars too, I still have to read a few books though :)

Somewhat-of-an-edit: I think we hit the submit button at the exact same time, Dennis  I got a screen that said

Thank you for the warm welcome. I've posted photos of the guitar in the "Projects" section of the forum under "Photos of Mosrite Inspired Build".

Ed, I'll be happy to add some photos of my shop. It'll take me a day or two because my shop is halfway between where I live and where I work.

Thanks again for the welcome.

Perry
