Hello everyone! I am a father of 2 children, 8 and 13, and I am a fan of the Ventures, or at least what they used to be. I usually play music on my own time since work usually takes up most of my time anyway. I have come to like Mosrites when doing a bit of research on what guitars the Ventures had used.
Anyway, my neighbor owns a 1965 Mosrite Pearl White and has let me borrow it on occasion. I love the sound of mosrites and the shape and feel.
I grew up in the 60's to the sound of the Ventures.
Oh, and before anyone asks how I came upon my username, this was inspired by my son's game name is (on games like cod and stuff)

Re: New Guy Here
Welcome fishyfish235...if you love the sound and shape and feel of a Mosrite, you've come to the right place!
I was wanting to ask if your kids are interested in playing guitar too but I notice in your other post you've answered that already. My son at age six at one time started banging on my '73 Strat (like Fred & Wilma Flintstone's son Bangbang, LOL), so I bought him a kiddy guitar. Later on we had him take some lessons after buying him a proper Spanish type guitar and he has my '73 Strat now! (gave me the perfect excuse to buy myself a new guitar too, heh heh).
He's now 18, studying Economics and his main interest lies in scooters and girlfriends at the moment
...perhaps one day he'll pick up a guitar again
OK, we know about the "fishyfish" story now but what's the story behind affix "235" ?
Anyway, enjoy the forum.

Ah, 235 is the time my younger son was born. 2:35 PM
However, my younger son has no, or very little, ambition to learn to play guitar.
