Hello everyone.
I am a retired person who has always admired Mosrite guitars but never played one. I am currently awaiting delivery of my first Mosrite, a used Kurokumo from Japan. I own a Rickenbacker 360v64/12, Fender Strat, Gibson ES 335, Gibson Les Paul, Martin acoustic electric, Larrivee 12 acoustic electric, PRS Santana model, Ibanez acoustic electric, and a Japanese Silvertone "Mosrite wannabe" from the sixties.

I had a buddy in high school who owned a white Mosrite and played in a local rock band. I had only a cheap borrowed Kay flattop and barely knew a handful of chords, but I knew I had to learn to play. I loved the Beatles and the Ventures and yearned to play like them. The Mosrites were always out of my price range, but I have admired them from afar until now. Hopefully you folks will educate me about this dream guitar of mine and all its history and trappings.

My wife thinks the ones hanging on the wall are all I own, and that the cases on the floor are empty!
