Maybe a difficult question; what's your favourite type of (stringed) instrument and which brand(s)?

No quite easy actually, ImageI started collecting R.G. and G. "The Grammer Guitar" 18 or so years ago, I massed the largest collection this side of Billy Grammer's factory, eventually sold most of them , got them listed in the vintage guitar price guide and have one of my first, it is my go to acoustic any day of the week, Electric wise, I do have a 52 Les Paul,Image but I am leaning to a custom build Les Paul styled guitar from my personal luthier. I have not really found THE guitar electric wise per say, as I post more and become more involved here and it is seen I am a guitar lover as well as buyer and seller I will place some links( if the members do not object ) So you can take a gander at what I happen to have at the moment.

Ah, Greg ...a classic white Ventures '65 and a '72 Bass in the Mosrite ballpark, that's super.
Your Grammer guitar is looking very special. I like the way the bridge design 'interacts' with the shape of the pick guard and also the neck-end of the fingerboard. I bet she plays and sounds real nice. But a '52 les Paul ...that must take the cake.
I'ts good for players to have a bunch of guitars; like flowers in a vase, they need each other's company :D

Wow, wonderful picture. Those headstocks look very Mosritey too and it's the first time that I've seen a dot marker on the very first fret
