Hi everyone,
I am brand new to this forum and sadly I do not own a Mosrite...yet. The first time I saw a Mosrite was in 1993 when I was visiting my Uncle in the SF Bay area and he took me to visit his buddies. They were in a garage jamming away and one guitar just stood out from the rest. I believe it was a Mosrite Celebrity. I have been on the hunt for one ever since. I need to learn a lot more about these guitars so that I choose the best one(s) to suit me. I've been playing since I was 17 and love acoustics as well as electrics.
So far I have a 1961 Guild X-50 hollow body electric, 1977 Gibson Mark-53 acoustic, 2007 Gretsch 5120, 2008 Guild JF-30 acoustic. As you can see, I certainly need to add to the collection.

Welcome to the 'Mosrite Family' Sarah, make yourself at Home, BTW, you sound like you have a "Nice Collection" of Guitars going on already

! There is LOTS of INFO on the Mosrite Guitar and it's History on this Forum. You probably need to check out the different Threads that will answer a lot of possible questions that you might have. And if they do not, all ya' gotta do is just send up a Flag, and someone here from "the Family" will jump in to help you out. Anyhow, when you have some time, check out the different Threads and get yourself aquainted with everything else that you might have been wandering about as far as the 'History of Mosrites.'

Welcome, Sarah! Enjoy all the info and hope you're able to obtain a Mos' or at least a good clone. A number of options available, just explore the Forum.

Good to have you here, Sarah.
Nice group of guitars you got there! What kind of music do you like to play?

Thank you all. I will definately be doing some research here. I don't know anything about the clones or remakes that are coming out lately. I am mostly interested in good old vintage guitars. I'm also looking at a 1994 Paul Reed Smith solid body electric. I know it's not very old but it is one of the last that were hand carved and it sure is purdeee!
I think I'd like a Celebrity that came with the tremelo bar. I don't know what kind of pickups came on those, but I'm sure they sound sweet.
I play mostly country, 50's, and early rock stuff. These days I am primarily interested in Rockabilly and learning cool riffs. I've always been a rhythum player and I want to start doing neat licks
