New member from Tx

Postby bluther » Tue Jun 30, 2009 1:07 pm

Hey all.My name is Bill Luther. I'm a long time Ventures and Mosrite admirer. I am at present attempting to build a Mosrite clone. I sure wished I had found this site prior to starting my build. There is a lot of info here that would have helped me tremendously.I have almost finished the body and have the neck wood on order.

I appreciate the welcome. I will post picks of the build. The body is Swamp Ash and the neck will be curly Maple.I've already learned a lot from Danny's build and Ed's build that would have saved me a ton of time. I've been carving the german carve without first routing it with a !/2 "cove bit. Just by hand.
