Hi, I fell in love with the Mosrite look after seeing Fred 'Sonic' Smith clutching his white one on the cover of the MC5's 'Kick out the Jams' LP. That was when I still lived in England (now I live in Santa Monica CA). I bought my first Mosrite (a '67 Sunburst) in England and brought it out here with me. Since then I've acquired another '67 Sunburst; a 12 string combo, and a newer Japanese copy in pale blue with all white plastic. I swapped out the knobs, tremolo and bridge on the Japanese one for originals of the similar '67 vintage. I play the 6 strings primarily through an Ampeg V2 and two matching Ampeg V series 4x12s loaded with Greenbacks.
