Bob Shade told me about this site....very cooool. I have had about 15 or so mosrites in my run and currently have a 65 Ventures/vibrammute...65 early slab bodied Ventures II (think Johnny Ramone) and a custom made Jonas Ridge Era Ramones model with single pickup and one knob. I also had Ventures serial 0906 restored by Semie many years ago when I found it stripped at a pawn shop-brought it back from the dead so to speak. I live about 150 miles from jonas Ridge and was able to visit with Semie a few times around 89-91. I bought my first one-a 65 Ventures II for 150.00 in 1983!! Back in those days you could not give them away. The Salesman even tried to talk me out of it by offering a deal on a Peavey!!! LOL. The times have changed...gabba gabba hey!! As Dennis had said Dennis, this Dennis welcomes you to the Forum too

!
On a more interesting note, you and I have a few things in common besides our first name. I too had a very old Mosrite
that looked as though it had been used for target practice. Semie also had saved it in late '90-'91........it was my 1963.
