Hallo Fellows and Friends!

Hi Folks!
Andrew Scott checking in from Toronto on the chilly shores of Lake Ontario!
I'm a long time Mosrite enthusiast, first being introduced to the brand by a buddy who came home from Hamilton one fine afternoon with a lovely Surf-ish Green single pickup Ventures Bass which simply blew my mind!
From there the quest began. For the longest time I settled on using a Japanese Firstman Baron (Half Firstman Mosrite Neck, Half Greco Shrike Body) that I've been horrible bad (good?) to over many years of play (abuse?).
I've owned a 90's japanese Mosrite that I loved but sold to fund various custom builds for myself, for friends, and for sale at a Music Shop where I work (www.paulsboutique.ca). Lot's of custom P-Basses, a few funky shortscales (a 3 P'Up Jag, A Tolkein inspired Mustang, a Jazzmaster converted to a Bass)..amongst other things.
My current Mosrite love is a beaten and beleaguered Joe Maphis bass that I'm converting to a Guitar with a '65 Vibramute Neck and Hallmark Hardware...it was this project (and it's sister project which will be finding a Ventures Bass Body to use all the leftover Bass stuff on!) that finally led me to sign up as a member here after many years of reading from the sidelines.
Hope this is a suitable intro, can't wait to talk to you all!
