Hello Mosrite folks...

Another Eastern US Mosrite enthusiast. A Technician - stringed instrument restoration / repair guy.
Have been 'Luting' for about ....never mind...I do remember getting Ventures albums as gifts and always wished Semie would have made a Ventures model in the same finish as the blonde Maphis. My Mosrite is a '91 with a sn of "HVO 3 307" (the '3' is pretty vague). Model...definitely a ventures w/o the logo, right down to the fast frets...the model may very well be the 'Masochist'...I purchased it 'as-is'. It was a basement relic and all controls are covered 'corrosion-white', it was incredibly filthy and the re-paint was, umm, not bad for the 'K thru-2nd' class. I have 1 dead pickup (open), so it will need a repair/rewind and I need a nut and screw for the bridge roller...one is zinc(was...now rust, threads gone). T
