Hello from London, UK!

Postby Hydra19 » Thu May 17, 2012 1:22 am

Hi everyone,
I'm 30 years old, originally from Yugoslavia but have been living in London for the past 12 years. It all started when I bought the Surf issue of Guitarist Magazine, took it to my summer vacation and ended up re-reading it and staring at the beautiful emerald green sparkle jaguar on the front cover.....that guitar will be mine!

A few month later I indeed did get a nice Big Block Jaguar and really got into the Ventures, through that I discovered Live in Japan 1965 and that has been listened to on my ipod constantly since November 2011, nothing gets me like Nokie's tone on that one....so it's pretty obvious now why I'm here :)

Can't afford a Moserite, never even played one, but I've just ordered a Hallmark Custom 60 in Sunset Sparkle so I'll post a review and let you know how it is when I get it next week.

Thanks for all the info, I have been scouring this forum for info on the Hallmark before pulling the trigger!

Welcome to the forum! A great site for all things Mosrite-related. I can say that I truly enjoy the Hallmarks - I now have 4 of them! A great product, a great price ....

Welcome! Watch out for those GAS attacks though, they can be really expensive!

Welcome, Hydra!
You have definitely come to the Mos"Rite" place.

You can't go wrong with a Hallmark. I have the Wing-Bat and it's a fabulous guitar. So easy to play and the Shade Vibrato system is so smooth. Bob Shade is a great guy as well.

I heard this may happen and now I'm paying the price...literally...too late!...

2 years later, I have had the Hallmark, but sold it and now have 3 Mosrite guitars, one fillmore, one kurokumo and one vintage 1966, all made possible with the help and advice of this forum.

I thank you all for helping me realize a dream I had a few years back!

Howdy Hydra,
Welcome back to the forum, glad you were able to pick up some spares along the way, love my Hallmarks and Mosrites, as well as some of the funky Japanese clones I've picked up!
