Well almost, I bought a new 66 Ventures bass back then and absolutely it was the best. Just recently purchased a 72 model that is equally as good by my standards.
Played in a garage band from 64 to 68, loved every minute I was playing. That was the best time of my life so far.
Glad to be a part of a great group!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome, it's great to be back. Mel, Frank and Mrmomo I appreciate your kind words.

One could never truly understand the efforts of Semie Mosley until you have held one of these beauties in your hands and had an opportunity to play for a crowd of people. I had that privilege years ago and there has been a void in me for the duration until last week.

For me it is like finding a long lost friend. Unfortunately Frank I no longer have the 66 model, school days in Nashville - car needed a generator (yes generator) for my 56 chevy so the guitar was hocked for 30.00 at a pawn shop there. So sad.

However my new-old friend will stay with me for the rest of this journey called life. That I will guarantee.

Again thanks for the welcome, hope I can contribute to the forum been a lurker for the longest.
