Hello guys and gals!
Read several interesting topics and decided to join a nice company here. Glad and wish to be a part of it.
Some years back I started to play and eventually collect Takamine a/e guitars, mainly handcrafted LTD series, later found some rare Takamine's solid bodies GX100T, GX200T, GE340T... While chasing a Tak encountered a Mosrite Ventures guitar and loved it at first sight, now posses a Mosrite MIJ (Ranger) and a Joe Maphis double-neck 12/6.
Came here for a help - what to say to my wife who is afraid I'm starting a new collection? J

A good investment in today's economy, maybe?
Welcome to the club Theo, we know the problem. I could defend having two while still married. Now? I started adding to them and currently have 8 (incl. 2 bass guitars).
Do I need all of them? heck, no and my playing skills certainly don't justify it either but ain't it grand to have them anyway ...AND I don't have to defend having them
Good luck.

Thanks for moral support. Do I need 17 Taks?.. Sure not... but agree - it's nice and fun having them around and taking care of them. All sound so differently.
