The new guy from MI

Hello fellow pickers and strummers.
I'm just an old picker, been playing for over 45 years.
Back in the early 70s I bought a Black Mosrite solid body. Great guitar, unfortunately it was stolen.
Prior to it being stolen my dad played it a few times and really liked it, even more than his early 60s Jaguar. So as a Christmas gift for him we traded in the Jag for a Mosrite just like mine.
That was about 1972.
Some years later my dad hurt his back and the Mosrite was just too heavy for him to hold. I found him a really nice used MIJ Epiphone Sheridan. Of course he had to put a Bigsby on it.
A few years ago he gave me the Mosrite.
BTW, my dad is now 89 and plays in a classic country band.
I never played the Mosrite much but recently pulled it out, tuned it up and figured I'd better put it to use. It needs a little work, loose binding, and I'll have all the electronics gone thru.
I'd like to know a little more about the guitar so I'll search the site and probably ask a few questions.
I'd like to know the actual date of the guitar. The serial # is V0380.
Thanks in advance.
Donzie
