Hey everybody from Argentina!

Postby Dgvns » Sun Apr 24, 2016 11:40 am

Hi my name is Alexis and i´m from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I´ve been reading this forum for along time but now i decided to join it because i get my first original Mosrite part! Its a (i guess) a 1966 neck pickup from a Mark V / Ventures II or a Celebrity.
Im planing to put it into my Johnny´s Argentinian copy that i love and i´ve been playing for 12 years and finally get a really Mosrite tone. I never play, touch or hear in person a real mosrite :( only in my fav records.

Im planing to get more parts via-ebay-web to make it better or build another one because buying a "complete" mosrite from here is toooo expensive for me sadly.

Here some pics:

I want to know if this pups were the same on the Mark V and Celebrity and if it sounds the same with a Mark I or any other more "classic" Mosrite models.

i want to ask you too if you can tell me the exact distance between the bridge and the pick up and if its ok to wire it direct to the jack with no pots i never really use them and it really bother me.. as you can see on the second pic i have them with tape haha

Well thats all thanks you very much and sorry if my english is too bad.

Alexis.

Welcome Alexis! I understand you perfectly. I have trouble with the English language myself.
