Howdy fellers!

Hey guys,
Just wanted to say hello. longtime fan of the mighty mosrite/standel/hallmark stuff. Fell in love with these things as a teenager back in the late 80's when I discovered that I dug the Ventures more than a lot of the punk rock I was listing to at the time. The last few years I've been getting more and more into early country stuff especially the amazing Joe Maphis. Man I really love those early double necks.
I have more guitars than I need but as far as Mosrite stuff goes I'm a proud owner of a late 60's or early 70's japanese Combo with Dana Moseley pickups on it. It's a distant foreign cousin for sure but it's a joy to play. I also have a late 90's early 2000's era excellent that came with a regular Moseley tailpiece. Not sure of the story on that one. My other recent cool acquisition was a Bakersfield built Standel Custom Deluxe solidbody. I've been wanting one of these for along time and it finally worked out. Plays great but I'm gonna need a stiffer spring for the trem as the one that is on there is pretty dead! Not sure what type of spring will fit as the trem is sort of bigsby esque.
Anyhow just wanted to say hello and say thanks to those who've been responsible for keeping this site going for so long it is a great resource.
