Mosrite standing up lapsteel??

Postby pockets86 » Thu Aug 06, 2009 1:57 pm

Hey Guys!
Now i know that, even if i didn't imagine it, the guitar i seen was obv not called what i wrote in the title, ha!
but a few months ago, i seen this mosrite guitar on Ebay, where, the strings where upside down and the neck was a triangle shape which stuck out so you could actually play lapsteel standing up. it was amazing looking, but i always wondered.. was it a real mosrite or some one off thingy.
anyone ever seen one of these, or am i just going mad with mosrite fever?
anyone?
peace

I believe you might be referring about the 'Mel-O-Bar??'
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.

'Reminds one of half of that crazy thing Junior Brown plays SO well. If you are not familiar with him or his incredible skill as a picker, look him up.

Thank you for sharing.
