I'm starting to get it now, it looks like the guitar went thru some changes, here is another pic

I read someone said EF. Most of your question's Terry answered. Yes there has only been
two guitar bodies. The one in Nashville and the second in Bakersfield. As can be seen on the Album cover with Merle the Guitar does not have a armrest. Below that the picture in the guitar case shows it with one. That was a addition added later. I remember the first words
Joe said when Joe first saw the recreation Semie built for me. Quote "It's got a fiddle tailpiece".
I think Joe might have liked Semie to go ahead and make one, however we know that never
happened. It was heavy enough. The guitar had a completely different feel than the original.
I played that second guitar several times when Joe and Rosie would stop by the house
and spend a few days. I will post some of those pickin guitar pulls we had. Brian Lonbeck was there for one or two of them. Those were good times. I will post one here from 1985.
