Interesting but nice. No binding, knob, switch and jack placement and humbuckers? Looks like maybe a hand made replacement pickguard. Did they ever have Moseley vibrato's?

Still not as strange as this one.

Yes, the pickguard was made about 20 years ago by a local guitar shop, needless to say i was disappointed with the knob placement and the overall dimensions, so a few years back i bought a used original off of e-bay but haven't put it as it is in perfect shape i don't want to mess it up. the tuning knobs i replaced when i first got back 85 i got the same kind that where on it, i didn't know at the time they weren't correct. it is a early 65-66 sn ho-238 those came with the mosley and no binding i believe....the hum-buckers i have no idea.. the thing sounds huge thru the 66 buckingham no real feedback issues.. unless i want some.

Brutus, are you referring to the "no binding" to the F-Hole? Cause it looks as though you have
Binding on the Body of yours in your picture. And Yes, the Full Face Plate Moseley Trem
was used on the 65-66 Combo's. Later on, they would switch to the 2 piece System.....
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.

I thought I would repost this as a comparison to the mini. I see it now. They did a great job on the proportions with the mini, unlike the ridiculous Gibson mini 335
