My (ex) Brassrail

While I'm in the mood, here's another one...... This I bought at a guitar show in Santa Monica in about '99, for around $500.00. I sold it a couple months later on ebay. I lived in Idyllwild, Ca. at the time. The guy that bought it was from not far away, as he came & picked it up --maybe one of you guys???

see next post for more shots...............

Wow that thing had a lot of knobs! I think the brass rails are really cool. They feel kinda heavy though. I'd love to have one some day for the novelty of it. You just don't run across them very often.

This one was the "Deluxe", which had active pickups, stereo, phase switching and other stuff I didn't even understand. I wish I had kept it, but you know -famous last words. It did weigh a ton, though.
I don't even remember why it had so many knobs -I guess something to do with the stereo....

Just how heavy was it? Did you ever weigh it?

I never weighed it, but I owned it at the same time as my Bluesbender, and it was a LOT heavier than the Bluesbender (which was not especially light). The Bluesbender was actually a lot more playable -and not so complicated. I don't like to have to think so much when I grab a guitar .....................
