Wow, what a neat guitar!!!! I'll chime in with suggestions on the type of pickup--Teisco, Framus vintage,Barth from the old Rickenbacker days. The trapeze appears like an old Harmony trapeze tailpeice with an updated tuneamaric bridge. Don't know if I am correct -just some suggestions and guesses. Definitely Celebrity body. I chime in with most others, if it goes up for sale then Sarah should get it for her collection. She would preserve it's heritage.

So, is the general consensus that Semie may have made this one from spare parts lying around and donated it to a church? I can understand using pickups and other hardware lying around the but shape of the headstock is really throwing me. I would think he would have plenty of necks rather than use one so far from the norm. Very curious!
With that said, I would definately give it a good home!

I sincerely doubt that, Sarah. I think Danny's hypothesis from back on page 1 is much more likely, that this is one of Ed Elliott's early creations.
