Hi Folks,
I ran across this site while researching my Mosrites and thought I would check and see if anyone knew their value and back ground. Any help would be appreciated and any offers will be considered as well.
My Dad gave me these guitars when I was 15 (Im 42 now). He had them since new in the 60's.
I have a Double neck 12 string top and 6 string bottom (joe Maphis?) with a serial number of 2J399. All isues with it are relatively minor, the guitar is fully restorable to original. There is rust on the pick up screws and discoloration on the center pick guard. The usual bumps and bruises and the odd nick here and there
Also, I have a Arch Top (Celebrity?) with a serial number of A0222. It is also in restorable condition as all issues are relatively minor. The usual bumps and bruises and odd nick...the finish is cracking and the pick guard is missing....
Both Guitars are in their original hard cases with the red velvet lining.
I have some good pics if requested. Just email me at busasuperbike@aol.com.... Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Try contacting the real Mosrite, at mosrite.us. They're pretty good with replies through email.

Welcome to the forum. It sounds like you've got some nice guitars. Won't you please introduce yourself in the Introductions forum, and post pictures of your guitars here? We're a welcoming bunch, and happy to have another enthusiast on board.
