Im restoring mine. It came with just a M knob. Later I bought two knobs without chrome from Elliot, but nobody was able to plate them. So, any of you have an M knob for sale? Im looking for a Tone knob.

Upshot of the question is: did you buy this for fun, or profit? If you are determined to make a buck from the re-sale of this guitar, then do not mess with the finish... If, however, you bought it for a fun project, and as something you will play the remaining life out of, then make it yours...if you want it painted up like new, take it to a re-finisher, pay your bucks and get it pretty. That's my humble opinion, and I hope I don't get shot at sunrise...
