I got my first tuner second hand in the early 90s. I'd guess its from the mid-late 1980s. It has a needle on the gauge that displays pitch. It's up in my jam space & I still use it from time to time. I seem to be the only person capable of using it. Haha. So, when did the first hand held tuners hit the market?
