Joe Maphis Bass Question
-- Hi, I am thinking of making an offer on a 66 Maphis Bass. Does anyone on here have a range of value for the Maphis Bass? Would somewhere in the 1700-1900 range be a fair offer? I don't want to insult the guy and I do not want to pay too much either. (he is asking 2500, some of you may know him;) Thanks everyone!
The gangster looks so frightening, with his luger in his hand
When he gets home to his children, he's a family man
But when it comes to the nitty-gritty, he can shove in his knife
Yes he really looks quite religious, he's been an outlaw all his life

Re: Joe Maphis Bass Question
I usually search ebay for "completed auctions" to see what items have actually sold for.

Re: Joe Maphis Bass Question
-- Thanks for the idea. Just looked though and one hasn't sold recently. It looks like they're listed on there for 90 days. Anyways, I made him what I considered a "step up to bat" kind of offer, and he declined. So if I get it it'll be in due time, for more money of course.
