Great find! A Mark V in that blue color is just smashing. Love it. Now to the next step - how to create that guys sound from the video in your first post. He sounds excellent!

Elliott, that is very good to know. Thank you for your assessment. I have not had the pleasure of playing a Mosrite solid bodied guitar, but I can say the Fillmore's that Artie has in Bakersfield are of fantastic quality. I'd own one in a heartbeat.

Re: In search of 'That Gospel sound' (need your help)
Excellent thread with some open opinions of various Mosrite makes. There mustn't be another guitar whose provenance is a suspect and problematic as the older Mosrite.
So are Kurokumo and Fillmore Mosrite entirely different? How does one tell them apart, especially from tiny pictures?
The whole thing makes buying Mosrite something which ought to be done in person. That means cl or a shop and sales tax.
Any further notes on subject well appreciated.

Elliot; Perhaps he wants a "Gospel" model for the same reason I want one...because I don't have one yet!

In case anyone didn't catch it, this thread is from 2011 and Vance bumped it up looking for discussion of the Mark V. I posted a bit about my Ventures II G.C. (Same model, sans name) in another thread which you replied to, Vance.
