The oddest Mosrite guitar ever made????

Postby Deke Dickerson » Mon Feb 02, 2009 3:08 am

Here's one many of you haven't seen. This is from a book called "Dangerous Curves: The Art Of The Guitar." I had heard about this guitar for a long time but never seen a picture before now. I'm going to say that out of all the crazy Mosrites out there, this might just be the oddest.

As it says in the caption, Semie made it for Barbara Mandrell after her life-threatening car crash in 1984. You have to admit, Semie had a good sense of humor!

Don't forget this little trio of odd balls. However, the crutch lap steel does take the cake.
