I know what you mean. I have waited so long for the same reason. Rarely have I seen when at the same time that I had enough money to buy one. I would like to get a double nect, 6 and 12 one day. I hope you get yours as well!

I am so stoked! My 1970 Celebrity III arrived today and it is amazing! It is in even better shape than I expected. The back is absolutely gorgeous with no scratches whatsoever. The front has some minor scratches but nothing that bothers me. It is totally original and in perfect working order. I stopped by to visit my jam partner to hear how it sounds next to her Gretsch White Falcon and did we have a blast. She was plugged into her Mesa Boogie and I had the Mosrite in my Fender Blues Deluxe and it totally rocks! The two guitars sound amazing together. The Celebrity plays like no guitar I've ever played. I'm taking it to my guitar tech tomorrow to have it totally dialed in and then I am off and running. I already feel like this may become my favorite guitar! I had to wait 21 years to get this but it was every thing I remembered and well worth the wait. Woo-hoo! I am stoked!

hey sarah,

awesome, i'm glad you like the guitar. if you have never played a mosrite, (specially the original semie models) they are nothing like any other guitar out there. the quality of a true semie piece always amazes me. Your celebrity looks nicer then some of the ones I've played.
if you ever need an tips on maintenance on your new baby, feel free to PM me. hope you enjoy it!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
Cheers,

I've never even had the pleasure of even touching a real Mosrite, let alone having one...and now you have yours, finally.
Congrats and may your joy never wane.
Thanks for showing your new baby to the rest of the family here at the forum. :)
