I visit the site every few weeks. They keep up-dating the photo gallery, so something is going on. Loretta just up-dated her messages with a statement that things are coming along and there will be exciting news soon. Maybe this is where I will get my "official" Mosrite in the future!

That's the part I saw and heard from her over 6 weeks ago. I don't want to
bum anyone out here, because Loretta is very dear to my Wife and I, but I
can't even get a hold of her. They might be updating the Photo Gallery, but
I think that's all they have done. Anyways, when I see this, it just hurts me....

Well, I was kind of wishfully thinking it may be Black Cloud making them once again, officially sanctioned.

On the Mosrite.US website, did anyone watch the video? It sounds like they plan on making mosrites in the US. All I can say is I remain hopeful.
Cheers,

The Mosrite.us website has been revamped. Completely different look, and apparently, you contact someone in Osaka called "Basswood 65" to get a quote and delivery time on your official Mosrite guitar. Hmmmm.

That's a guitar shop in Japan. They are probably acting as an agent for Kurokumo. My guess is this is all an attempt to legitimize Kurokumo considering all the litigation between them and Fillmore over copyrights.

Well, I am very VERY disappointed. Mosrite US, yeah sure. How about Mosrite 'R' us?

After watching a 1993 video I recently acquired showing the Mosrite factory in Booneville Arkansas, I was excited thinking maybe Loretta was going to bring the Mosrite guitar back to life and actually be made in the U.S.A. where it belongs.

I am sure they will be nice guitars, but it just won't be the same. Plus U.S. distributorship will probably be through our good buddy in Las Vegas. After I heard that Semie's daughter was working there winding pickup's, I sort of resorted to the fact that Loretta's speech on that video was the introduction to a MIJ or MIC Mosrite. It'll be the same old thing. Make the parts overseas and put them together here and call them 'made in America' and charge a ridiculous price. Hopefully they will at least be priced comparable to the Hallmark 60s.

Danny, I think you meant: Mosrite 'R'nt U.S.
After watching a 1993 video I recently acquired showing the Mosrite factory in Booneville Arkansas, I was excited thinking maybe Loretta was going to bring the Mosrite guitar back to life and actually be made in the U.S.A. where it belongs.

This probably is not going to happen unless someone with 'Money to Burn' shows up and gets all the Legal Matters straightened out, which would also include unpaid bills and loans outstanding...
I am sure they will be nice guitars, but it just won't be the same.

Again, no complaints here, I agree....BUT....ADDRESS the HEADSTOCK CORRECTLY!!!
If they are not going to be manufactured and assembled in the U.S.A., then dog gone it, say so on the Headstock! Mosrite of Japan.....period!!! I don't have a problem with that, those are very fine instruments crafted in Japan, and they should be proud of it. But don't put on the Headstock "Mosrite of California"...........when it isn't
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.
