Austin is correct and I don't think there is a whole lot more to learn from Ed about it. Ed worked for Semie years ago and during the time when parts were auctioned off, etc. and he ended up with lots of parts. He started his own business building guitars and of course built some of them using parts he had gotten from Mosrite. The three guitars he built had Celebrity bodies and Acoustic necks. They are not Mosrite prototypes as some people want to speculate. They are simply very good guitars assembled by a talented man and should be appreciated as such.
They would be classfied as a Partsrite guitar made from Mosrite parts, not produced at the Mosrite factory. Keep in mind that Semie made Partsrite guitars on occasion as well. It doesn't make it bad or anything and I think they are fine guitars. I would love to have one of these as part of the ongoing legacy of Mosrite.
