Hey Terry!
Nice to see the ol geetar is getting the attention it needs. Larry was going to send this guitar to me for repair, but I was in the middle of building his double neck Fireball 500 and could not get to it for a while. At any rate, it looks like it is coming along nicely! I believe he had told me that the trapeze tail was missing as well as the bridge. Can't remember what else. Looks like its about ready to rock again.
On another note, I just installed a d tuner for the low e string on larry's new Hallmark Wing-Bat guitar. He is going to help us promote this new model. He really wanted a D tuner on it as he says he loves to tune the low E to D and play that way sometimes. He had never seen the tuning key that you can use a fast lever and play in D and then flip it again and you are in E. I put Grover Imperials on the beast and a grover D tuner and changed the Imperial button to it. He flipped out over it. He said me might want one on all of his guitars now. Anyway, look for new music from Larry " WingWalker" Collins on the new release coming from Hallmark Recordings soon.
Nice work as always Terry! Keep up the good work!
Bob

Re: Larry Collins "Larico" single neck
Hey there, for anyone that may be interested I finally fabricated a bridge for the Larico. Torn without any clear pictures, one thing for sure had to be. . . very small thumb nuts that adjust the height otherwise the thumb wheels would hit the pickup. The light bulb went off a couple of days ago when I came across some 6-32 terminal post nuts I had used for another project. Anyway, I think it worked out OK. Continuing the 'hand made' look of everything. Check out the radical radius that matches the fingerboard. I'll be packing it up and shipping it back shortly.

Looks great Terry. Now you're using that good ol' Semie Moseley ingenuity.
How about a photo of the completed guitar for posterity?

Re: Larry Collins "Larico" single neck
The 'Larico' is ready to return to service. I was surprised how good it played and sounded. The neck is straight as a die.
For those that are curious, 23" scale - 24+ frets (see photos). I don't have any radius gauges but if Tele necks are 7 1/2" I'd guess this neck is about 6".
I hope Larry will play it at one of his shows. The "Kids" with be at Rockabilly Rave in Las Vegas in October.

Thanks Terry, totally cool. What is the history with the "ginger-breading" and also where did the pick-guard designs and imagery come from? I have really gotten to like these 50's Mosrites.
