Here is my Combo I think that the pickups are from a Univox Barney Kessel guitar

If anybody can confirm this that would be great

As you can tell it is a well worn mutt. Anybody know what the output would be on these pickups?
Anybody that can list all the things non orignal gets a prize.

looks like the tuners, pickups, pickup rings (with screws), pickguard, strap buttons, and switch tip on the toggle all have been replaced.

cool guitar by the way.

Nice looking guitar, Brutus. After the Mark 1, The Combo/Joe Maphis is my favorite in the "looks" dept. Also, as a side note, I have been to your Myspace page several times. Really enjoy your music.

Thanks Strat-o-rama I'm glad you dig the music. I am a little embarassed about my pick guard the guy that made it for me was not a pro that's for sure. I bought a repo pickguard but alas it won't fit the uni-vox pickup rings I am considering putting one Ed E, and one Hallmark pickup in (that would be cool to us guitar geeks anyway) but I developed my sound around te set as is so if I put high output pups in that could pose a problem as I use a high vol. and lot's of fuzz plus delays.
p.s. My band and Scottstandard's band ( the One Night Standards) are playing together Oct. in Iowa should be fun I'll post a poster soon

If you need a pickguard made you can't go wrong with Paul Setzer. He has created an awesome reputation for making exact replicas of pickguards. He is also a great guy to deal with. He can be reached here:
