I WILL SIMPLY SAY THIS ONE SPEAK'S FOR IT'S SELF. IT WAS ONE OF SEVERAL
INSTRUMENTS BROUGHT FROM ARKANSAS BACK TO NASHVILLE JUST BEFORE
SEMIE PASSED. HE CAME HERE TO NASHVILLE TO RECORD SEVERAL TRACKS
HE FELT HE NEED TO GET DONE. THEY ARE INSPIRING TO SAY THE LEAST. THE
INSTRUMENTS WERE ONES HE WANTED HIS BROTHER TO HAVE. THAT SAYS IT
ALL. RIGHT NOW I HAVE BEEN ASKED TO MAKE THEM AVAILABLE FOR YOUR
VIEWING. WHILE THIS GUITAR'S GENERAL APPEARANCE WILL BE FAMILAR TO MANY ADVANCED COLLECTORS. IT'S THE PEDIGREE THAT'S IMPORTANT. THIS
WAS A GUITAR THAT WAS PRECIOUS TO SEMIE AND TOOK STEPS TO SEE
ANDY GOT IT. YES THERE IS MORE DETAIL TO THE STORY. LATER.

WE HAVE ALL HEARD STORIES ABOUT FIRST OF ANYTHING. I HAVE HAD
CONVERSATIONS WITH SEVERAL PEOPLE I TRUST IN ADVISING IF EVEN
NOW WE SHOULD RELEASE IT. I INVITE QUESTIONS. JUST REMEMBER
THIS CAME FROM SEMIE'S BROTHER. OH YES THAT IS ANDY MOSELEY
NEXT TO ME.

Here is the guitar in a case that has been it's home for decades. Was there a
1st case that far back? That may be lost to history.

HERE IS CLOSER IMAGE THAT MIGHT GVE A BETTER LOOK. FOR THOSE NOT
FAMILAR WITH EARLY MOSRITE's. MOS-RITE AND THE FORM MosRite ARE
GENERALLY FOUND. I KNOW DEKE AND OTHER COLLECTORS OWN SOME GREAT
EXAMPLES I BELIEVE.

How does it play and sound?

Eltwang.: It's a playable guitar. Through a tube amp sounds great. A first is always a hit and miss. The one we don't know is, was this coil the first
Semie tried or did he play with the INDUCTANCE AND RESISTANCE relative to the
number of turns. Which changing would change the Resistance in Ohms, and
Inductance in Henrys also in relation to the core the windings are wound on. Size of copper wire plays in higher the number smaller the wire. Magnetics laws
are described in Mathmatic Terms. Over the years most Mosrite coils measure
between 6500ohms old Carvins or the 10K to 11500 ohms the average coils that
Semie wound. But there are guitars out there with other values. Magnets can
go weak affecting the output and sound.
