I've seen books on all brands of guitars and a I own a few that have sections for the Mosrite brand...but is there a book dedicated solely to Mosrite? (In english)

I think Ed Elloit is writing one, but I'm not 100% sure.

Not.
Andy Moseley was contemplating writing a book but I think that has gone by the wayside. Adam has been trying to get the rights to republish the Vintage Mosrite book in English but that too is on the back burner. Deke is working on a book dedicated to early California guitar builders but not dedicated solely to Mosrite. So authorship of a Mosrite history book is up for grabs.

I'd sure like to see one written. Maybe a joint venture is in order. No pun intended there!

I have a feeling that Deke's book will contain a wealth of knowledge about early Mosrites, and will pretty much fulfill that need. yeah?

I know two guys who have been talking seriously about collaborating on a History of Mosrite, and they are both very handsome and talented fellows.
One guy has a vast knowledge of Mosrites and a ton of info, photos, and documentation, and the other guy is his helpful friend.
We shall see what becomes of their plans . . .

It would be great to see a book about Mosrites put out by Dana Moseley. She probably has more facts about Mosrite guitars and her Dad than anybody..Hint-Hint Dana!!!!!

I dunno, I think actually this forum serves the need for a mosrite book quite well. I think since I been on here the last year and a half I've learned more about Mosrite history then I've learned in the last 15 years.
But I do remember Ed telling me (maybe it was in an email, i don't remember) at least talking about writing about the history of Mosrite and Semie. Maybe he was just thinking out loud, but that's what I recall.

This forum indeed has a wealth of information on it. I would love to have a book to go to to look something up when you need to or verify something quickly at your fingertips. For example I have a book on Guild guitars by Hans Moust that is considered the bible for Guild. I have books by Tony Bacon and by Jay Scott for Gretsch guitars that are wonderful resources when you want to look something up.
The Mosrite story and Semie's guitars are quite unique like Henry J or Nash Rambler automobiles, Indian motorcycles, or Grape Nehi. His story is part of the American fabric. Like so many pioneers he sought the "American Dream" with passion and his legacy is the wonderful guitars that we enjoy today. Gee, I think there might even be a Sunday night movie based on the book.

The words Grape Nehi just gave my mouth a tingle.
