In post Group Sounds era Japan (see
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Group_Sounds), perhaps the highest profile Mosrite user has been the bass player in the now defunct band, Number Girl. I do not know the pedigree of his instrument, but it is safe to say that it was inspired by Bob Bogle's famous "In Japan"
bass, with the addition of body binding and a Moseley stoptail. Whatever it is, Daddy like.

...understand you like! (me too). This bass puts the sound where it's mouth is
...and the stoptail piece should've been on all solid body Mosrite basses from the beginning -now that I've seen this

Very cool. That bass has a great sound as well as looking totally cool. The band members are pretty good jumpers too.

The Bass on the Recording sound like a Fender or maybe a Rick but not any short scale Bass I've ever heard.
