Old double neck...anyone know this guy?

I found this on a site with a picture contest. Don't know who he is or when it was taken but nice axe.Maybe someone here can shed some light on the guitar facts.Looks like a mistake plate. Not sure but it looks like a knob on the bottom horn.Could be a master volume? Sorry for the pic size. I don't know how to get it any larger.

This model was discussed a little ways back, in which it is most definitely not a 1964.....
