Ventures II model?

I have a few questions for any members with a Ventures II model. I know the body size is smaller than the full size model and the neck sits more deeply in the body, but some things I haven't been able to find out, and not having one to investigate in person, I'm hoping to get some help here.
What is the scale length - is it 24.5 like the full size Ventures model?
What is the nut width?
How do the pickups compare to those on the full size model? Are they high output?
Thanks in advance,
Mel

Ok, I'm not too clued up on nomenclature so I'll try answer as best as possible!
The neck length is 24.5" long from bottom of the frets to end of the head, the fretboard is a little over 18" long.
What do you mean by nut width?! Tuners?
Not sure how they compare having never heard an original ventures model (apart from Ventures recordings!), from the sound I get its very typical of the ventures tracks of that era, with a likeness to the live albums recorded in Japan at that time (On stage, Encore & Live Again). They are pretty pokey to me and I love the characteristic crunch from the bridge pickup..

Bushers,
Thanks. I've heard these called "short scale" but it seems they've got the same scale as the regular Ventures model, just a shorter overall length due to the neck inset and the smaller body. By "nut width" I mean the width of the fretboard at the nut/string guide/zero fret.
From what describe it sounds like they've got that magic Mosrite tone!

Ok, nut width is a fraction over 1 1/2 inches.
For reference the neck is set into the body about 2 1/2 inches to the top of the arch on the body. The guitar doesnt feel small in any sense though, the only thing that really stood out to me when mine turned up was the size of the head, man it looked so much smaller than I had imagined!!
I love this guitar though, one day I will get me an original....

Jason, to measure the scale length, you measure from the center of the zero fret to the center of the 12th fret. Multiply that by 2 and that will give you the scale length.

Found this topic while searching through Bushers' posts. I realize its an old topic but to chip in, My Ventures II (Serial Number B670, Later MK V style) Has a nut width of 1.553.

The later Ventures II models sound completely different than the slab bodies, it's the pickups. The later ones sound basically the same as a regular Ventures, unless you got a real good tech to set the polepiece height on a regular Ventures model. But they pretty much sound about the same. The difference would be just the production differences in the pickups. Does that make sense? IMO, the slab body V II's sound totally different.
