Combo and Celeb sightings

On vacation with my wife in Palm Springs, and happened upon a music store, Musician's Outlet, or something like that. In a shop that was pretty sparse, there on the wall were a Combo XII and a Celeb III! I had a chance to play them both, nice guitars in need a decent set up. The XII had one incorrect tuner and mismatched V/T knobs (one small one tall M knob). The Celeb had a replacement bridge that put the strings way off kilter on the neck. The Celeb was priced at $1499, and while the Combo didn't have a price tag, I assume it was equally enthusiastic on the part of the seller. Anyway, took some pics, including SNs for Sarah.

The CE-III will hang there for a long time at that price, I'm afraid. This one was on eBay a while ago. It sure is a beautifu color!
