Come on, you must know the year - it's whatever year you had the time machine set to when you crossed the space/time continuum to buy that thing brand new! :shock: :shock:

Seriously, I don't know the year, but that's a beaut!
Oy vey - it's MESHUGGA BEACH PARTY - The world's premier Jewish Surf Music Band!

What? Couldn't tell the logo is a link? So click here, what's the hold up? http://www.meshuggabeachparty.com

If you take up the screws on the pickguard, flip it over, and have a look at the pot codes you will be close. Look for a number such as 1346732.

134 = Central Labs
67 = the year
32 = the week of the year

If they are the original pots then the guitar came shortly thereafter.

looks like the original owner was a serious collector with amazing willpower...that doesn't look like it's been out of the case! Congratulations on a great find! :mrgreen:

Let's see...a "half trem" with the funky tuners large M logo high number would make it a 68? Thats my guess.

Pot Code: 1346806. So it looks like 1968? Cool!

Yep. I would guess early 1968, first or second quarter.

I am jealous that you have such a gorgeous guitar!

Wouldn't it be cool if Hallmark started making reissues of these guitars and the Joe Maphis models?

Not sure if this will help...

There's a bass version on ebay right now :arrow: http://cgi.ebay.com/vintage-mosrite-bas ... 8767986765

and...

:arrow: This photograph of The Ventures is from 1968…the guitars most probably too :?
