Gary,
Does it have a Ventures logo on the headstock or just the Mosrite logo? If just the Mosrite logo, does it say anything besides "Mosrite of California"?

Sounds like a 70s' model but not sure of specific year. Maybe take a look in the neck pocket and there will more than likely be a date stamped there. Kevin

I sold one that sounds like exactly the same one you are describing...V0476, black M, no Ventures logo, Sunburst body, neck, and headstock. I had estimated it as a 1972, but don't remember how I got that date, sold it years ago for some reason.

I hate to think of what it would be worth now, mine was mint too, bought it used for $335, in 1981, and sold it a few years later to get funds to buy a '71 Javelin. I sold it for $550. I don't know what the current value would be, just bought a VG condition '66 Ventures in CAR for $1,800 and thought it was a great deal. If I found my '72 for sale I'd easily go $2,000 to get it back, but I could be high or low.

Someone had replaced the original pickups with Seymore Duncans, and they were very weak. Since i didn't have the original Mosrite p/ups I never did replace them.
