Are Mosrite's a "Homemade" recipe????

Postby fluffy » Sun Mar 30, 2014 4:18 pm

So from the things I've read and a couple videos I've seen, it seems Mosrite instruments have never been produced in a huge factory. Is this correct? Were they really always built pretty much by hand in environments usually the size of and sometimes actually a two car garage?

There is a lot of Mosrite history on the forum available for reading but I think you are essentially correct. From what I have read the largest production period for Mosrite was during the Ventures contract years. There were a larger number of workers at that time but before and after that period it was pretty much a one man operation. Semie Moseley was an innovative guitar maker but was unfortunately not a great businessman.
