Please help me! I need info fast before buying!

Hi!

I'm all new here, and made this post because i'm just about to buy a Mosrite Ventures model (or what is supposed to be one of those)..
The seller is telling me that it has a 60's neck, and a 70's body from the factory.. it got a new lacquer in the mid 70's
The original colour is metallic green.. He says that the guy he bought it from picked it up in the states (both me and the seller is swedish) The info he got is that when mosrite changed factories, they created guitars from the leftovers and spare parts.. Therefore it's a bit of a mix.. What bothers me is that i'm having a hard time finding solid info about this guitar.. It hasn't got any back neck plate for the four bolts.. The front of the headstock is black and says "Mosrite of california" but there is no ventures-logo.. and the back of the guitar neck is only maple finish, no black laquer..
The pickups are the ones without pole pieces, but they do have the mosrite stamp, but the neck one are tilted..
fretboard serial number is: V 5 7, followed by what looks like 0902 (?)
Can someone please help me out on this one? don't wanna make a bad buy! What is it? what is it worth?

The thing isthat i will get the first one i posted for a really good price.. are the parts etc. mosrite usa?
