Anybody know anything about these 12 string models ?
http://www.tremolorecords.com/MosriteI`ve had it for about 15 years & it`s one of my favourites.
It`s dated 1968 from the pots & has s/n T750, I`ve seen a lot of The Ventures models with the vibrato but not many of these ones.
Any information would be much appreciated.

I haven't personally played one but I'm building my project guitar on a twelve string body.

looking good, where`s the neck from ?
the neck on my 12 string is a bit wider than the 6 string ones, did you have to fill up the pocket putting on a 6 string neck?

I played a 12 string Mosrite the other day at Front Porch Music. It was a great guitar as the neck is a little wider than the six string version and what I really like was it had the extra strings and tuners removed and was set up as a six string. It made the perfect feeling Mosrite (for me).

BTW Simon, that is a beautiful 12 string.

The neck I built myself as I could not find a source of a Mosrite style neck as was the case for the pick guard and the tailpiece.

Hi Danny,
Yeah the neck size is great on them, I`ve sometimes used this one with just 6 strings on but then I start going to grab the vibrato to realise it`s not there.

Some of them did have the vibrato.

Do the 12 strings with vibrato stay in tune when you use the vibrato?

I thought I'd go ahead and post the image of Simon's guitar so you don't have to use the link.

I used to have one with a Moseley trem, and the answer is no. It was hard enough getting the thing in tune in the first place, let alone even looking at the trem the wrong way.
