I just got to join this club - got my Ranger from an eBayer - arrived yesterday. I took off the Wilkinson tuners and humbuckers the owner had installed, and put the stock hardware back on - I just like it better this way...

Thanks, all! I noticed when I had this one apart that the vibrato base plate has no needle bearings, only bushings and a rod. Anyone else have a setup on their Ranger like that? I'm going to put in Torrington needle bearings, and possibly threaded rods on each end in place of the steel rod.
